The SV35DA is a precision piston valve designed to apply accurate and uniform dots and stripes of medium to thick fluids, such as grease and silicone, without mess or dripping. Its positive shut-off mechanism enhances accuracy and consistency; when the air pressure exhausts, a spring retracts the piston and sealing head, stopping fluid flow and pulling back a slight amount of material for a clean break. The valve features adjustable fluid flow control and is engineered for durability with a unique UHMW polymer diaphragm sealing head that ensures long, trouble-free operation and excellent chemical resistance.

How the Valve Operates

Air pressure forces the sealing head downward, allowing fluid to flow (Figure 1). When the cycle completes, the spring retracts the piston and the sealing head returns upward, shutting off fluid flow with a clean cut-off (Figure 2).
