Spray Valve

The SV97MS is a precision micro spray valve designed to produce uniform, exact micro spray patterns ranging from 3.0 mm to 20 mm. It operates using low volume, low pressure air, which prevents overspray and misting. By utilizing small dispensing tips (ranging from 23ga to 33ga), the spray pattern can be made more than 60% smaller than that of a standard spray valve. A key feature is its positive cut-off mechanism, which provides a drip-free shut-off and eliminates any remaining dead fluid volume, ensuring consistent size and placement of the spray pattern.

How the Valve Operates

Air pressure retracts the needle from the nozzle seat, allowing fluid to flow from the dispensing tip. Simultaneously, nozzle air is activated and flows through an annulus around the dispensing tip. This airflow creates a pressure drop around the nozzle that draws the fluid out and atomizes it into fine droplets.
